I’m delighted to be taking part in Herts Open Studios again this year, welcoming visitors into our creative space to share my work and process. I am a coloured pencil artist specialising in detailed, lifelike animal portraits, with a particular focus on capturing the unique personality and character of much-loved pets.
During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to watch live demonstrations of my technique, offering a behind-the-scenes insight into how I build layers of colour and texture to bring each subject to life. From the first sketch to the finest details, I enjoy sharing the patience and precision that coloured pencil work requires.
Alongside my commissioned pet portraits, I will also be exhibiting a range of animal artworks, celebrating both domestic and wild creatures. My work aims to capture not just a likeness, but a sense of presence and connection.
Whether you’re an art enthusiast, an animal lover, or simply curious about the coloured pencil medium, I would love to welcome you and chat about my work.
