A self-taught artist with a portfolio of works inspired by a love of the natural world and the wildlife, landscapes and plants we share it with. I have enjoyed creating artwork since childhood; studying shells and plants in pencil before eventually injecting colour with oils to explore texture; particularly in the animal studies.
In addition to canvas, I work on natural products such as slate and pebbles as the base for small affordable bespoke works and commissions (mainly in acrylics).
I aim to bring pleasure, re-connection, and peace to my audience through original artworks that share joy-filled glimpses of the natural world, and am committed to supporting species in crisis and protecting the environment with careful sourcing and ethical production methods considered.
Supporting wildlife conservation is key and 10% of profit of all animal artwork sales are pledged to my local wildlife park, supporting their involvement in rare species breeding programmes.
