We are excited to announce a brand new event offering local exhibiting opportunities for both artists and makers. This is a format that we hope to take across the county, starting in Berkhamsted.

The inaugural Artists & Makers took place in Berkhamsted Civic Centre, a lovely historic building with a prominent position on the busy Berkhamsted High Street. It is a regular venue for arts and crafts events and offers a lovely space in which to enjoy the work of our artists.

We had over 40 artists exhibiting their works, and recorded visitor numbers of nearly 800 people – a huge success and an event that we will now hope to roll out across the county.

Visitors’ Choice Award Winner – Jackie O’Keefe

Congratulations to Jackie O’Keefe, whose colourful and joyful paintings were clearly a firm favourite with our visitors. We especially loved the giraffe!
