Big Art Fair

2025 will be our 9th Big Art Fair, one of the major events of our year, we are excited to return to Hitchin Town Hall.

The Big Art Fair takes place each July in Hitchin, offering 60 artists and makers a wonderful space in which to exhibit and sell their work. With around 2000 visitors each year this is a really popular event, taking part during the Hitchin Arts Festival.

The weekend starts with a Private View on the Friday night, allowing artists to celebrate their success with friends and family. There are Sponsors’ Awards presented during the evening and a Visitors’ award allowing visitors to vote for their favourite artist.

VISITOR’S AWARD

Congratulations to Amy Webb!

Each year we invite visitors to vote for their favourite artist who is then award with a prize at the end of the weekend. In 2024 our winner was Amy Webb with her oil paintings, created with a palette knife in which Amy applies thick layers of paint to form beautiful landscapes. Congratulations Amy!
