42 Becky Ullah

Becky has been the resident artist at The Settlement in Letchworth Garden City following a fellowship at The Fenners with Digswell Arts Trust. During this time she has created a collection of botanical watercolour artworks fused with medicine to demonstrate where prescription medications used in modern medicine were first discovered. This collection was exhibited at The Royal College of Physicians and more recently exhibited at the Mall Galleries, London with the Society of Botanical Artists in Plantae 2025.

Becky is currently working on her next medical collection which explores chemotherapy drugs that were first discovered in natural sources such as marine life, bacteria, and many plants. These more mixed-media pieces aim to enlighten people’s understanding of the importance of nature and how closely it is actually linked with western medicine.

Alongside these medicinal collections, Becky enjoys painting beautiful, joyful florals and nature inspired artwork, sometimes exploring mixed-media approaches including resin work.
