Growing up amidst the dramatic beauty of the Lake District, I was enveloped by a world where the natural landscape exuded a raw, untamed majesty. This environment, with its sweeping valleys, shimmering lakes, and towering peaks, instilled in me a profound reverence for nature from an early age. The rugged terrain and ever-changing weather patterns became not just a backdrop, but a canvas of inspiration that I carried with me into my artistic journey.
My quest for capturing atmospheres has taken me to many bays and waterways including the Hebrides and channel islands, often both sketching and working onv=canvases on location.
