Gill is a well established artist working from her garden studio in Wheathamsptead.
Gill works across a variety of mediums, including acrylics, inks, & mixed media, on canvas or board, as well as collage & smaller works on paper. Often process driven, depending on the medium, Gill’s work treads the boundary between representation & abstraction, exploring an emotional & contemplative response to landscape, inviting the viewer to take time, to stop, to look. Although often inspired by specific places or locations, her work aims to communicate an impression of colours, forms, light, & atmosphere, enabling each individual a personal response & interpretation.
Gill has exhibited & sold work through galleries, exhibitions, & art fairs, in Hertfordshire, Herefordshire, the Eastern Region & London.
