I grew up with art as my family include painters, sculptors, and ceramicists.
After an undergraduate degree in Conceptual Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Drawing 1988-9, I came back to drawing and did more than 10 portrait commissions.
With school-aged children, we moved to St Albans, where, in 2016, I started up an art school called ArtHouse 16 teaching adults (and children) drawing, painting, linoleum print, and sculpture in clay.
Last year I began a new departure into oil painting. During Open Studios you can see some of my latest paintings of portraits, the figure, and still life.
