Abstract painter inspired by nature and colour. Her work is colourful, vibrant and it’s her emotional response to the beauty of the natural world. She aims to create a feeling of wonder, curiosity and magic through texture, mark making, colour and shape contrast and she allows her work to shape a life of its own. Beatrice approaches her painting in an intuitive and mindfulness way where she becomes totally absorbed in her own unique creative practice.
Beatrice applies thin, thick and loosely layers of acrylic paint and she uses several mark making tools such as credit card, kitchen spatula, different sizes of brushes and tissue paper to add and subtract paint. She loves the contrast between light and dark and to reveal what is below each layer.
