The Big Makers Fair was for our members who creates 3-dimensional works. Jewellers, sculptors, potters, weavers and much more.

Venue: South Mill Arts Centre, Bishops Stortford

For 2024, we return to the same venue for the weekend of 18/19 May.

Our venue was the wonderful South Mill Arts in Bishops Stortford where we had the theatre allowing 20 exhibitors to show off their work. From curious cats to devore scarves, bottles, vases, rings and so much more – a delightful array of wonderful, desirable objects.

Our Big Makers Fair was a new venture for both Herts Visual Arts and South Mill Arts. For HVAF we have never devoted an event purely for three dimensional work, and our venue is well known for it’s plays, music and dance.

The overall success of the fair was due to the wonderful HVAF Members exhibiting and others who came along to support these amazingly creative people. It was lovely to see so many visitors having a look around, chatting to the artists and making purchases.
