Herts Visual Arts is a not-for-profit membership organisation. We use our income to deliver services, events and development opportunities for our artist-Members.
In 2020 we focused on supporting our Members to improve digital skills and online market access. Alongside significant additional website gallery features, we provided digital marketing skills training, and support to those who took part in our Virtual Herts Open Studios.
The following year, we continued to support our Members as they built online skills, opportunities and connections.
2022 HVA continued developing opportunities for Member to get involved with, and sell their art to the public.
2023 will see the launch of a new website, gearing more for viewers and lovers of art whilst maintaining our amazing, information packed Membership portal. We will also be hosting our 7th, but the 1st one in-person, Annual Conference since the pandemic.
Our Membership fees cover essential supplies - our website, insurance, some of our marketing and operating costs. All other expenses are covered by our event fees. sponsorship and donations. Time and expertise is given freely by our Members who are able to, including a dedicated Organisational Group, without whom HVA would not operate.
