Witty papier-maché sculptures in fantastic colours and patterns, from cats, dogs and birds to mythical beasts. Originating from the Mexican Day of the Dead alebrije tradition, these lively creatures come from simple newspaper and wire, flour and water, acrylic paint… and imagination. You might find an Elizabethan cat, a fish-headed man, a griffin, a blue dog…
I’m also growing from 3D to 2D with works on paper using acrylic, collage and mixed media with a sprinkling of Japanese haiku spirit.
