My work is landscape based but is not representational. I work from photographs and sketches. They are used to inform the paintings but not intended to be copied onto the canvas or paper. They will suggest colours and atmosphere and how the place feels. The work is about places I have visited and been inspired by. I work in acrylic and oil at present but have also used collage and print as the subject dictated.
