Kat Kerr is drawn to a range of subjects including dreams, folktales, people and how light falls – whether that be landscapes or still life. She primarily captures these subjects by drawing with her iPad, but also uses paint, ink and thread – and often all of the above.
More recently, she has created book sculptures and altered book art to create a world of whimsy using damaged books that are heading for recycling. You may see some of her work at Oxfam Books and Music, Harpenden.
Kat Kerr also accepts commissions for pet portraits and bespoke book sculptures. You will find her at Harpenden Farmer’s Market with her most recent projects on show along side her popular prints and cards.
Kat will be in the Open Studio during the week. Exact days tbc.
