I love to develop my printmaking every time I print. I like to experiment with new ways of mark making and I use a variety of printmaking processes. It is working in this way that gives me a broader range of marks that I can use in my prints. This experimental approach can produce ‘happy accidents’, and the unexpected in my work. Line, simplicity of shape, texture, colour, and small observed details are all evident in my work. The usual subjects of my work are landscapes and natural forms, all of which have a personal connection in some way.
I have recently started to develop my work using monoprinting as my process which I intend to continue – printing on both paper as well as wooden panels.
