Donice became interested in Ceramics when she was teaching English in Japan some thirty years ago. Upon her return she decided to take an evening class where she became hooked and has been potting on and off ever since. 

She mainly hand builds with slabs but also likes to throw and alter her forms.  Last year she began experimenting with Terra Sigillata in preparation for a residency in Greece. This year she was in Japan revisiting ‘the source’ and hoping to bring back plenty more inspiration. 

She regularly exhibits locally and is a member of  Dacorum and Chiltern Potters Guild.
