Caroline Clark is an artist with over 25 years of experience, living on the borders of rural Essex and Hertfordshire She produces 'en plein air' landscapes in all weathers as well as abstract paintings, drawing from seasonal colours in nature.
Caroline's work is based on three ideals - joy of colour, the process of painting and gratitude for what is around her. Her palette is often bright and cheerful using colour to create emotion and invoke memories. She mainly uses acrylic for its immediacy as well as mixed media to develop each individual painting until there is balance and cohesion.
Caroline has a BA (Hons) in Fine Art; she sells her work internationally, exhibits regularly (group and solo exhibitions) and runs workshops for enthusiastic adults and reticent young people.
