Fabric collage on canvas ' Wordsworth's Lake district'

I create my 'happy' uplifting fabric collages on canvas by heat-bonding hundreds and thousands of fabric scraps and old textile fragments, thus preventing them from ending up in landfill sites. As a 'green ' artist, my work from fabric waste also includes rag rugs, fabric rope baskets, cushion covers, quilted wall art, necklaces etc. My work is inspired by the natural world, travel, microscopic images etc and has appeared in several international calendars, magazines& journals. My commissioned work hangs in East Lancashire hospital, St Georges hospital, Tooting and my work is in many private collectors' homes in UK, Europe,USA and India.I was mentioned in an article '21 Things you can only buy in England' in Artisan crafts http://katsgoneglobal.com . Finalist in ACTA London awards 2021, Named an Indian Influecncer Manchester 2021,appeared in the book '100 stories of Inspiring women in Manchester2019, awarded highly commended in Inspire Women 2019.Public speaker fabric sustainability
