Textured and Tactile — maybe you think this refers to textile artists only, but think again!  What about sculpture?  What about ceramics and glass?  What about how the application of paint to create surface texture, or to represent something rough or very smooth?  What about photographs which show the texture of leaves or the silkiness of an animal’s fur?  We all want to touch things, so why not get a feeling here for how our artists respond to that urge?
