I create expressive abstract artwork inspired by nature. I'm fascinated by the use of contrast, pattern and energy in my painting to create decorative, striking and vibrant designs to liven up spaces and create intrigue. There are so many interesting patterns,shapes and delicate textures in nature, and I like to present them often on dark backgrounds, or play with bright colours to present them in a different light. I love creating something out of nothing, and I enjoy the escapism that painting allows - especially when I'm painting on a large scale!
