I am inspired by nature, love working with natural materials and my work is very much of the slow craft ethos.
I use willow and many other natural materials, cane, bark, leaves and found items, stone, bone, even beeswax.
Willow workshops are available for most of the year and I teach short courses using a variety of materials to make beautiful contemporary basketry structures.
Commissioned work is possible for private and corporate clients. Past projects have included large sculptural pieces and focal points as well as sculpture, decorative and functional work for home and garden.
My work is exhibited and sold at galleries, art/craft shows and community events, also from my small showroom at the studio. Gift vouchers are available by email.
I am happy to negotiate terms for basketry demonstrations and weaving activities at events. Please email for further details.
Please contact me if you would like to discuss any of the above and you'll be most welcome to visit the studio by appointment.
