Herts Open Studios is HVA’s annual showcase event taking part over 3 weeks in September. 

We welcome all artists and makers living or working in Hertfordshire who wish to open up their working space or venue to visitors. If you do not have your own home space or studio you could use local arts venues, cafes or any number of places. Please look at our Open Studios Venue Finder to see venues available near you. You can also post a request to find a venue.

To participate you must be an HVA member.  Join today.

What does it cost?

• The entry fee is £80.

What do I get for my money?

• A listing in the professional designed, full colour brochure with details of your venue and an image of your work.
• 30 copies of the Open Studios brochure to distribute
• Yellow Herts Open Studios bunting for you venue (on first year of participating)
• Promotion of your artwork and venue on social media
• A listing on the HVA website with detailed information about your Open Studio.
• Zoom Support session(s) with Q&A session
• A comprehensive Artist’s Guide to Open Studios with lots of advice on how to make the most of your opening

Dates

• Open studios runs from Saturday 5th September to Sunday 27th September. 
• Artists may open on some or all dates within this three week period.
