For Herts Open Studios, we’re excited to showcase not only our own textile work but also a carefully curated collection of pieces from talented local makers whose practice reflects our values of craft, creativity, and conscious making.

Our workshops range from embroidery to weaving and more, following the thread of all things fibre and textile, designed to help people of all skill levels discover (or rediscover) their creative confidence.

The Maker + Mind Studio is home to a local makers’ gallery where visitors can purchase unique, handmade work that tells the story of the person who created it. Every piece in our gallery reflects the values of craftsmanship, and the pleasure of working slowly and thoughtfully with your hands.

For Herts Open Studios, we’re thrilled to present work from local makers whose diverse practices all share a commitment to quality, creativity, and the joy of making.
