Suzi is 70, mixed-race of Anglo-Indian descent. Her heritage & her N. African childhood are running themes through her artwork. She has been painting since lockdown, developing an idiosyncratic style & exploring a wide range of inspiring subjects - some from current affairs & others from the works of great artists, adapted to her own situation.
A playwright, novelist, singer/songwriter & busy London events company director, Suzi loves sharing her new art journey with her 7 young grandchildren & also fellow artists online & in person, recently, in the Moroccan Sahara - learning from one another & enjoying the connection with others brave enough to step up to the adventure of exploring a new creative outlet in later life.
In her spare time she shares her passion through humorous talks to community groups across Hertfordshire such as WI and U3A.
Her second novel Honeybees and Heartburn is due for publication at Christmas.
