I’m self-taught, and have been painting geometric abstracts for many years. Initially inspired by Bridget Riley and Victor Vasarely, I have now developed my own unique style. My first ever exhibition was held in the Old Town Hall in Hemel Hempstead in 1980, and since then I have exhibited many other times in the UK and abroad, and have sold work internationally. My paintings rely on shapes and colours to produce the illusion of movement, or to create a sense of tension on the surface of the painting. Some of my paintings have been used on the covers of vinyl LPs, CDs and download only releases.
