I’m a self-taught artist who works mainly with acrylics on large and medium-sized canvases. My work is inspired by nature and I try to capture movement and organic flow. I love to explore colour, flow, and texture, using mostly fluid techniques to create paintings that feel alive and expressive.
Some of my work is more abstract, focusing on mood and movement, while other pieces are softer and more realistic, especially those inspired by skies, clouds, and the sea. I like to let the paint guide me and enjoy the process of discovering what a piece will become.
For Open Studios in The Henderson Hub in Abbots Langley, I’ll be showing a mix of fluid art and newer landscape-inspired paintings. You’re welcome to drop in, see my work, ask questions, or just have a chat. I’ll also have some works in progress on display to show how I build up each painting.
