I am a fine art painter working from my home studio in Datchworth Green, Hertfordshire.

Whether completing a landscape, coastal seascape or still life painting, I work mostly in oils. I love the versatility, richness of colour and buttery texture of oil paint, and enjoy the ability to create thick textural impasto marks with palette knives. I do also enjoy the use of soft pastels for some smaller works and, in particular, for when working 'en plein air' and travelling.

Though I have loved drawing and painting ever since I can remember, my real passion to create was sparked during my Art GCSE at school. Over the next 20 years I continued to draw and paint at every opportunity. I filled sketch books and family walls with my art, and attended workshops and courses whenever I could. I finally made the move to full-time artist in 2017.
