Lapidus Alchemy is about a year old and created by Jayne Bernstein. The name Lapidus comes from my grandfather’s original family name and is Romanian. Alchemy because my grandfather tried his hand in alchemy in the 1970’s and wrote a book about it. No, he never achieved the ultimate goal of changing metal into gold.
My day jobs are a Technical Virtual Assistant and Project Manager. My partner got me into resin making as I wanted to do something more “arty” than my day job.
I can produce products to order which can be made in any colour variation, with or without glitter and with any other media factored into the resin. Products produced are coasters, skulls and skull pen pots, tealight holders, bookmarks, soap dishes, plates and much more. Each piece is unique and whilst I can make coasters that match, they all have their own variations in the way the resin moves and sets.
