Anna is a self taught, experimental, intuitive artist and furniture upcycler. She loves to create colourful mixed media paintings using recycled materials often painting on less conventional surfaces such as pallets and reclaimed wood. Much of her inspiration comes from the natural world. She is happiest being outdoors and often finds floral motifs naturally occurring in her work.
As a mindfulness coach Anna really values the benefits of regularly practicing creativity. When she paints she becomes totally immersed in the process of creating which has a calming meditative effect on her mood. It is Anna's hope that her abstract artworks bring some peace and balance into the homes of the walls they adorn.
Anna is a passionate advocate for social prescribing and leads the Three Rivers 'Making it' Arts on Prescription programme. She has also set up a number of art for well-being groups locally to support those who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
