Anna exhibits throughout the year at the Dacorum Creatives Art Hub in Hemel Hempstead. This space is a community gallery curated and managed by Anna where you can meet local artists, take part in workshops and art classes and see demonstrations by professional artists.
Anna runs regular art classes, including furniture upcycling, at her home studio throughout the year. These have a focus on mindful creativity and personal wellbeing. Anna will be leading weekend retreats starting in the Spring 2022. These will incorporate meditative art processes, mindfulness and wellbeing as well as encouraging healthy eating and self care. Please contact her for details.
Anna also runs a regular art class called 'Be Creative' with Three Rivers district council. This is a 10 week class starting on October 1st. For more information go to https://www.threeriversleisure.co.uk/regular-classes
Anna is a self taught, experimental, intuitive artist and furniture upcycler. She loves to create colourful mixed media paintings using recycled materials often painting on less conventional surfaces such as pallets and reclaimed wood. Much of her inspiration comes from the natural world: she is happiest being outdoors and often finds floral motifs naturally occurring in her work.
As a mindfulness coach Anna really values the benefits of regularly practicing creativity. When she paints she becomes totally immersed in the process of creating which has a calming meditative effect on her mood. It is Anna's hope that her abstract artworks bring some peace and balance into the homes of the walls they adorn.
Anna is a passionate advocate for social prescribing and leads the Three Rivers 'Making it' Arts on Prescription programme. She has also set up a number of art for well-being groups locally to support those who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
