Roxana Parker

Roxana is a self-taught artist; often inspired by the spaces, colours and textures in nature and her surroundings. She layers collage, paint and mark-making to bring a sense of depth and interest to her artworks.

Roxana aims to express the joy a subject makes her feel rather then create a precise rendition. Often this starts with lively mark making, often to music, and ends with a more considered editing until her work tells her it is complete.

She is looking forward to joining the new Hoddesdon Collective and taking part in Open Studios this year along with five other artists. She would love to meet you, to share her art with you, and encourage you in your own creative journey through demonstrations and workshops.
