Roxana Parker
Roxana creates uplifting abstract and semi abstract artwork. Often using an experimental and intuitive process where the painting is an adventure rather than just a destination to achieve! Her love for nature and landscapes and the shapes, colours and the emotions these evoke are reflected in her work. She uses a variety of media, mainly acrylics and has a passion for collage. She is always keen to learn new skills by taking courses and by constant experimentation in her daily practice. She has shown her work in local art shows and exhibitions, won 3rd place a local gallery run plein air painting competition and enjoys sharing her process via her Instagram account and YouTube channel. From May 2024 I am delighted to be represented at & By Donna Reeves in Ware. A creative hub where you can create through workshops, view and buy a wide selection of art, handmade crafted items, pottery and ceramics and much more! Open Wednesday-Saturday 9:30-5. I renew my work available every 3-4 months and take painting, collage and mixed media workshops there.
In July 2025 I began exhibiting my work at Stevenage Business and Technology Centre in two corridors of their office spaces hired out to many local businesses. This is part of a long term initiative run by Herts Visual Arts in partnership with the Wenta group who run the building. In August I was the featured artist with my work displayed in the reception area and the opportunity to promote myself. If you would like a tour of my work, I am happy to show you around. I currently have 10 of my artworks on display, and they will be changed every 6 months.
I now have a Redbubble Print on Demand Shop which opens my artwork up a wider audience, having fulfilment worldwide. My ‘Always & Forever’ collage has been bought in various forms including many t-shirts by many fans of Beaky Beaker and his love Tinkerbell, famous internet parakeets! Link on website.
