I am a textile artist working out of my home studio in St Albans. I create woven and embroidered artwork with a strong personal narrative. I am interested in themes of feminism, human connection and environment. I work with natural materials, often repurposing textiles and fibers that find their way to me and telling a new story with them.
In my studio you will find me working on my Swedish floor loom, surrounded by lots of beautiful yarn and samples from previous projects. My dog Bertie will either be relaxing in a sunny spot or racing around the garden!
I will have handwoven tapestries, home textiles and embroidered work to view and purchase. I’m available for commissions and collaborations so this is a lovely chance to see how I work and discuss a possible project with me.
Or if you’re simply curious about weaving come along for a demonstration and a chat.
If you can’t make the advertised times do drop me a text or email and we can arrange a time to suit.
All welcome!
