Current paintings, work in progress, and sketchbooks will be on display in my studio in Bricket Wood, along with demonstrations, and the opportunity to create your own mini Artwork to take away.
On Saturday, 27th, we are hosting a Macmillan Day, and 10% of all sales will be donated to the local Macmillan Coffee Morning Fund.
I have a passion for wildflower meadows, expansive skies, clouds, sun, and the changing seasons. All this beautiful nature surrounds us, yet I find myself easily waylaid by neglected wasteland, hidden backstreets, rubbish-filled service roads, broken-down buildings, and rusty old paintwork.
Based on my gathered references and consistent sketchbook practice, most of my work is created when back in the studio. By using memory and observations, I can tread the fine line between representational and abstract ideas, freeing myself up to experiment with intuitive painting methods,
