I am a painter and digital artist. I paint what I love, and what interests or intrigues me. My work is influenced by the landscapes around me, and by the many places and houses I have lived in over the years. In my digital art I fuse parts of my paintings and photographs and through juxtaposition create new and different meanings. This process often has unexpected results and produces images which are new and exciting. For me, this process of exploring, experimenting and improvising is often as satisfying as the end result.
Drawing, using layers, different textures and colors is also a major element in my work - especially color because it can so well portray atmosphere and mood.
