Biography
Turn The Tide Arts is a charity and workshop in Stevenage offering free arts opportunities to local people.
Everyone can make imaginative objects from materials around their homes; shaping discarded, found or nostalgic keepsakes finding new meanings and pleasure in their making.
The charity is led by Hugh Tessier, an artist making sculptures, jewellery, furniture and more. His work explores the abundance of things usually discarded or rejected, to find new purpose and meaning.
