Originally training as a draughtsman gave me an affinity with pen and ink along with structure and form . This lent itself to the technique of abstraction in both landscape and the built enviroment. Coupled with the exploration of colour and light I have been lead to a love of portraiture. After exploring several mediums I now paint mainly in acrylics.
