Jose Zavala is an Argentine artist and architect whose multidisciplinary work explores resilience, transition, and human experience through sculpture, installation, and conceptual art. Raised in an artistic environment, he pursued art to address his inner sense of scarcity. Trained in fine art at Newlyn School of Art (2021–22) and holding a PhD in Architecture from the Architectural Association, his practice merges structural precision with expressive depth. His work has been exhibited internationally, including solo shows such as “Submerged Flow, Art, and Resilience” (2023) in Argentina. Notable commissions include The Phoenix (2006–08), a 40-tonne urban sculpture in the UK.
