I’ve come to glass and becoming a maker later in my life but it quickly became a passion. I never thought I would buy a kiln and be excited about lifting the lid to see the results of my work. I’ve taken my background in science into the world of fused glass bringing a scientific approach. As a scientist I love to experiment, trying new methods and techniques. I love colour and glass affords the maker a beautiful palette to play with. It also gives options as to how it can be used with sheet glass, powder and small pieces called frit. I’m always trying to develop a style and method which delights the eye and gives pleasure
