Working with hand-built and thrown stoneware, I enjoy making modern pieces that push the boundaries between form and function and where sculptural expression meets practical design. My interest is in pushing the limitations of what clay can do, while always retaining a clear, intentional aesthetic. Blurring the line between the useful and the contemplative I try to produce objects that invite both interaction and observation. My design process, often involves drawing and making several prototypes of an idea which once resolved, leads to producing a limited edition of 8-10 pieces. I am happiest when customers feel a piece purchased reflects their personal taste and design sensibility, and my hope is that it goes on to spark conversations, invite curiosity, and offer small moments of connection
