I was unable to go to the theaters regularly back then, so I had to find another source to indulge my hunger for films. Therefore my local library became my buffet. My love for cinema was growing and a fascination with all the sensations I experienced while watching a film also arose.
Simultaneously, I started to draw a lot. I began by copying manga and cartoon pictures with pencil, then moved on to charcoal, trying to draw people’s faces. In my late teenage years, I became curious about acrylic and began to paint on canvas.
Later on I also discovered that I am not just passionate about the consumption of films but also making them myself.
Both visual art forms became very important in my life and had a fundamental impact on my growth as a human being.
I do not have any formal training. I discovered that I like learning at my own pace, experiencing and picking up new skills by simply doing the work itself and occasionally seeking advice from experts when I need it.
Born and raised in Germany, I decided in my early 20s to move to England, which also marked the beginning of sharing my work with the world.
