Liz Trumble – Trumble Creative

Craft and art have always been a huge part of my life and this was cemented over 20 years ago when attending the University of Hertfordshire to study. Since then I have continued my designer maker journey making Jewellery, art and more recently homeware made using the process of dying anodised aluminium. All pieces are hand dyed & cut/finished using hand tools making each piece individual. Only small numbers of each design are made.

I love to experiment with the bold colours and patterns you can get and enjoy the sense of the unknown that sometimes comes with the processes I use. It is a technique that I learnt when studying for a degree in Applied and Media Art and continue to learn about the versatility of the metal and colour applications. Each piece is a true labour of love from the idea through to the finished product.

Over the past few years I have experimented with using found objects and litter to repurpose these materials to into products that hold value and can be used for years to come.
