I graduated from U of H in 1999 and went on to West Herts College  and gained a PDD in Printmaking in 2002

I use photographs to start my thoughts and see where I go from there, my photographs inform but don’t dictate.

I use oil and acrylic in my practice and sometimes both together. Oil and water don’t mix but can give some interesting results which can be used to great effect. At other times the acrylic works well on it’s own, particularly on linen, or I may just use oil from the beginning.

I am inspired by nature and vary rarely use any indication of human presence.
