I am an artist and printmaker working from my home studio in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Although I have drawn and painted in watercolour for many years, most recently I have rediscovered printmaking. Linocut printmaking has now become my main chosen medium; I love the process of linocut from start to finish – I find it magical!

I like to experiment with line, form, rhythm and colour in my work. I respond to subjects which are close to me; drawing inspiration from the natural lines and forms observed in the garden or woodland, noticing the beauty in everyday objects such as hand tools, or simply acknowledging the nuts and bolts which hold everything together.
