With a background in textile design, my artwork is semi-abstract, layered and vibrant with a decorative edge. I predominately work in acrylic and ink as they mix well with so many mediums. I like to experiment with varying textures and transparencies when painting, incorporating layers with paper collage and printing techniques. The tangle of nature lends itself to this approach and botanical imagery often features in my work.  Working from my garden studio, I am surrounded by inspiration. I use high quality textured paper as a base and mount onto 6mm board before attaching to an L shaped tray frame. All works are varnished and ready to hang.
