Hey, I’m Jaiya! I left the corporate world to produce art that emerges from a meditative space, where the creative process becomes a path to free my joyful inner child.
I’m inspired by the human experience – including our relationship to nature, culture and the spiritual – and each piece is created intuitively, often while in meditation, allowing emotion, energy and imagination to guide the work.
Each colour and movement is an expression my sense of wonder and joy whilst creating, and I seek to share this joy with others when I teach too.
I teach both 1-2-1 and in group settings, often combining meditation and breathwork with creativity.
I’ve taught at the Rubin Museum (New York), been featured in the news for my workshop to help the homeless in Philadelphia, and now I teach in St Albans where I live.
My work will be on display at the Kingsbury Barn from Thursday 24 – Sunday 27th September 2026 – stop by and say hi!
Please do reach out to me if you’d like to ask a question, and follow me on Instagram (@jaiyabhandari) to keep up to date with my work and workshops!
