I have always loved painting and when my daughters were born I painted lots of whimsical, magical watercolour pieces for their bedrooms. I started to paint at night time whilst they were sleeping and I still do. I have been involved in various art trails and events in Hertfordshire.

I love painting the detailed beauty in everyday things; a butterflies, flowers and portraits and also strong female historical figures. I also love exploring the contrast between black and white and colour and whimsy and every day. Watercolour allows me to create dreamy paintings and also to create stark detail.
