At a young age, Glenn developed a passion for painting, inspired by his father, a carpenter by trade but also an accomplished artist who sold his paintings and undertook commissions. During his senior school years, Glenn studied A level Art with the intention of attending Art College, but circumstances led him to instead study and practice Law, enjoying Art as a pastime. Having recently retired Glenn is now able to enjoy creating Art on a full time basis. Glenn’s preferred subject matter is landscapes, although he also paints still life, animals and occasionally abstracts. His favourite mediums are watercolour and acrylics. Glenn describes his style as realism in a modern context, seeking to create atmosphere and beauty in his works, depicting the natural world.
Glenn has as of January 2025 developed and published a brand new website glenncoulingart.com
Glenn will be posting regularly throughout the year on Social media, especially Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and Pinterest.
Glenn will be exhibiting at 5 x venues throughout the year and will also be displaying his Art at various Art and Craft Fairs in Hertfordshire and Dorset.
He is presently preparing some new artwork for his forthcoming exhibitions in the Spring and Summer. In particular he is working on a new body of work emphasizing the effects of morning and evening light on Seascapes.
