I am a retired podiatrist/chiropodist who has always had a passion for art. Whilst working and raising a family, i would try and find time for creative pursuits be it sewing, gardening or cooking. However, my first love has always been painting which was discovered during my school years. I was awarded certificates from the Royal Society of Arts which was a great encouragement. I longed for the days of retirement where I now have the freedom to paint whenever I feel like it.

I am particularly fond of watercolour and enjoy experimenting with mixed media. In my art pieces, I like to play with colour and light and am inspired by nature, animals and daily life. Waking up in the morning knowing l have a painting in progress is a joy.
