Abstract artist working mostly in oil, but also mixed media; draws ideas from an evolving personal vocabulary of marks, a love of colour and layering. A qualified teacher with BA hons in Art with Qualified teacher status, Debbie has worked on many collaborative projects as well as developing her own painting style as an expressive and painterly abstact oil painter. ‘My primary aim is to produce work that speaks to my soul, and answers my need to resolve problems.’ She hopes to lead classes in the near future to help others on this path.
