Dawn Elliott
I am a St Albans based contemporary artist and studied at Ridge Street School of Art & Design.
My work mainly focusses on narrative figurative/scenic paintings. I see each of my pieces as telling its own short story and I am always fascinated to hear what the viewer sees in each of them.
I have recently created a new portrait series focussing on Music Icons.
Whether it is the emotion or story being told, or as simple as a favourite place or passion, each of my pieces are deeply personal to me.
I am a self-professed ‘vintage soul’ and like to portray a sense of timelessness in my pictures, taking inspiration from bygone eras and Cinematography along with many of my favourite artists.
